Meet Gerald Cote – Co-Founder & Co-Owner of GNR Dance With over 21 years of experience as a dancer and instructor, Gerald Cote brings passion, professionalism, and expertise to every class. Specializing in all forms of couples dancing, he teaches Ballroom, Latin, Swing, and Country styles. Gerald was also a UCWDC Certified Judge, sharing his knowledge and insights at dance events across North America. Gerald’s dance journey is marked by remarkable achievements. In December 2005, he partnered with Annick Paquet to win the Professional Male Showcase Open division at the UCWDC North American Championships. Just a month later, he earned his first world title in the same division at the UCWDC World Championships in Stockholm, Sweden. The following year, he claimed his second world title, dancing with Lisa Senn, in the Professional Male Classic Open division at the 2007 World Championships in Nashville, Tennessee. In 2007, Gerald had the incredible opportunity to perform with Dancing with the Stars: The Tour. His dedication and skill also shone on the West Coast Swing circuit, where he was ranked #2 in Canada and #13 in the world for Classic West Coast Swing in 2008.
