Darren Bowman
Darren has been a long time Ballarat District golfer who commenced his traineeship at Ballarat Golf Club in 2016. At the completion of the traineeship in 2018, he was appointed as the Professional at RACV Goldfields Resort Creswick where he would spend the next 2 years growing his knowledge and continuing he coaching development. Over the last few years, Darren has been playing on the PGA Adidas Pro-Am Tour with most recently finishing the 2023/24 season in the top 60 on the National OOM. Darren has a passion for teaching new players how to play the game, along with advanced players.
"Teaching players who are new to golf is something I'm passionate about. There is more to the game than just a golf swing. Knowing how to play the course, what shot to hit and what club to use. Coaching to me is not changing your swing, its finding ways to improve it and working with what you have by using feel that work for you"
