Heather's swim school offers one on one swim lessons. It's a great experience, especially if your little ones don't do well in larger class environments. The instructors are well-versed on working with individuals with special needs, such as ADHD. Third time is a charm, these are our peeps!
Our son had 1 traumatic swim experience in his older infancy and a mediocre at best experience with the city swim classes. Heather, Liza and Brooker are educators-- a rare find in a world of instructors and teachers following curriculums or dogma and lacking the experience and care that educating entails. We love all three of them, and my son is so comfortable with them he shows it in his mischief. Swim Class for 3 year old
Our son took several months of classes here. Although I felt he was a bit distracted and unwilling at times probably due to his age, he was still able to learn to float on his back and get comfortable in the water. He also learned to monkey crawl, and can pull himself out of the pool by himself. Very happy with results and will continue soon!by Katelyn - audrey Hickman

My daughter's swimming improved significantly during her summer of lessons with Heather and Brooke. I enjoyed the flexibility to add or cancel a lesson when I needed. My daughter learned so much more during the 20 minute one-on-one lesson than she did in almost a year at a big swim school. From fear of submersion to a little fish - Heather is amazing!!
When we first came to Heather 2.5 years ago, our daughter was severely traumatized from her experience at a large swim school in town. After a few short months, she was jumping in and diving for toys, something she would NEVER do before then. Now she’s a blossoming swimmer working on building up her strength and stamina to transition into competitive swimming when she’s a bit older. I can’t thank Heather enough for her thoughtful approach to working through swim-related trauma and helping our little one discover a deep passion for swimming. Heather has been so wonderful and patient with my 3.5 year old son who sometimes became anxious in the water. He has grown more comfortable and improved with each class. I was concerned he might not be willing to swim alone with a teacher, but he fairly quickly got over the stranger danger over the first few classes and is now very comfortable with her. What a great experience all the way around. My daughter loves her swim lessons with Heather & Brooke and her confidence has soared when it comes to the water. Having one-on-one instruction is great, booking a time is super simple, and Heather and Brooke are patient, kind, and knowledgeable when it comes to teaching little ones to swim. They acknowledge my daughter's hesitations and encourage her to push herself outside her comfort zone while respecting her limits so we see progress at nearly every lesson. My four year old started swim lessons with Heather after a bad experience at a popular swim school that does group lessons. She has a lot of fear about getting her face wet now. My son was 3.5 when he started with Heather. He was afraid to go under water and even try to swim. Heather had him confidently going under on the first lesson and swimming across the pool safely less than 4 lessons in. The confidence my son gained in such a short amount of time is remarkable and a true testament to Heathers ability. We can’t wait to start both of my kiddos back in the spring. My 5 year old son was simultaneously unafraid of large bodies of water and scared to have his hair washed. He is now better at judging water safety. Hair washing problems are cured! We will be back for more!
My 14 year old also enjoyed lessons...and that's saying allot!
