I’ve had lessons in the past and maybe been left a bit disappointed mainly because I didn’t quite understand what they were saying which is also on me . I never use a driver or any wood for that matter. It has been a bit of a mental thing. I booked a clubfit with Travis to replace my driving iron that I have used for over 20 years and which I misplaced. Travis tweaked my grip and straightened up a couple of things in my set up. I needed a bit of a general tune up for my golf swing and had a great session with Daniel Deflice. I have had quite a few lessons from Daniel over the years and find that he has great analytical skills and then suggests some tweaks that are easy to understand and have an immediate positive result. So after hitting 10 balls with my old swing, Daniel suggested two small changes to my set up stance and my swing and ball flight and connection improved dramatically. My co-workers gave me a gift voucher for Tatt Golf. I had started playing golf with my wife 2 years ago after a few hits 40 years ago. Staring with irons Daniel identified areas where I needed to improve on & got me to fix the problems & those improvements were transferred to the driver. He assured me my grip & alignment were good which I was not confident with. The adjustments that Daniel got me to do improved my shot making immensely and has given me confidence in that what I was doing wasn’t drastically bad but needed tweaking. The real thing
Like many, I was a YouTube tragic. Watched (to) many golf instructional videos and broke my swing completely. I had heard excellent things about Daniel from golf friends, so I went for a 1/2 hr lesson. After a quick observation Daniel said do this and this and just send it. Well after about 10 shots and getting use to the new feel I was hitting my 7 iron 155 mts!! This was about 30 mts further than my warm up shots. It was so easy, almost effortless. We then went to driver, same instruction , after a quick look, do this and this. OMG!! 230 carry!! Unheard of for me.

She has such an incredible skill when it comes to teaching. Everything she says is relatable and easy to understand.

Amazing, Dedicated Staff
I visited Tatt Golf for a few lessons, due to being a extremely average beginner. Between Ange and Dan, they have sorted my game out to the point that I actually feel confident that I can send the golf ball down the middle of the fairway( the one that I am trying to hit!!).
Even though I am not a member of Ballarat Golf Club, The team at Tatt Golf are always welcoming, and the practice facilities are amazing. The lesson packages are well worth it. I will keep coming back for sure!

Private Lesson with Angela
Angela is so down to earth and makes you feel so relaxed when you have a club in your hand. She builds your confidence and make your feel like you ARE a good golfer, you just need a few tweaks here and there. Her knowledge and expertise is unrivalled and I enjoy it when I have a lesson coming up with her as I then know, whatever I am doing wrong - she will fix it. Tatt Golf & New Head Professional
The Pro Shop has a real warmth about it now and the new layout looks very smart and seems to work better. To date everything is very positive and when you enter the pro shop you feel valued not only as a Member but as a customer. I am organising a family golf day at the Club and the staff at Tatt Golf have been so helpful and obliging. Whilst it is early days you sense a "new energy" which is great for Members. Golf as a Beginner
Recently completing a Golf Clinic at Ballarat Golf Course with Angela Tatt who is an amazing, approachable and encouraging person. I have had nothing but complete support from all members, experienced or beginners. The staff are so professional with all golf needs and with first class service after playing golf with food and drinks.
