These are recreational sessions for the Edinburgh local group, skiers must be able to get around themselves. We will have volunteers and staff there to support but the sessions are a safe environment for disabled skiers to practise their skills. These sessions are NOT suitable for wheelchair users at this time.

An opportunity for anyone wanting to learn to ski so they can join DSUK sessions with a disabled friend, family member or client - or to join DSUK as a volunteer

90 minute slope pass for stand up skiers and sit skiers who have their own equipment. Want to bring a non-paying friend or family member with you onto the slope? Please book a free of charge buddy slope pass.

3 hour slope pass for: * stand up skiers with, or without, a disability * sit skiers who have their own equipment Access the slope at any time between 18.00 and 21.00. Start, finish and take breaks whenever works for you. Available to non-members of DSUK, including AFPST members.

The first step from learning in ski school, or recreational skiing, towards competing, and maybe the GB para-alpine team. The coaching will develop your knowledge and technique. Video analysis will be used in the sessions and to help shape your practice between sessions. The coaching is designed for: • Mono and Dual skiers • Stand-up (3 and 4 track) skiers • VI skiers with a guide who are comfortable using the drag lift and skiing in control at a variety of speeds in different turn shapes.

If you are confident using the lift, and controlling your speed and line from the top of the main slope, this is the next step from learning in snowboard school, or recreational riding, towards competing, and maybe the GB para-snowboard team. The coaching will develop your knowledge and technique. Video analysis will be used in the sessions and to help shape your practice between sessions.

Information: These sessions provide the first step in developing a pathway between grass roots Snowsports and the GB para-alpine team. The interactive coaching will focus on enabling you to draw out and develop your own knowledge and techniques. An important output from the session will be video analysis that will help direct your practice in between the sessions at Hemel. They are open to the following: • Mono and Dual skiers • Stand-up (3 and 4 track) • VI with a guide Requirements: To book onto these sessions, you are required to be a competent, independent skier. Cost: Each session will be £50 for 2 hours. Initially we will be limiting the number to a maximum of 5.
