Requirements:
To book onto these sessions, you are required to be able to ski or snowboard comfortably on the main slope.
If you are interested in these and not quite ready, please book a private session for the moment and speak to instructor will guide you to when to book this session.

These are recreational sessions for the Edinburgh local group, skiers must be able to get around themselves. We will have volunteers and staff there to support but the sessions are a safe environment for disabled skiers to practise their skills. The first step from learning in ski school, or recreational skiing, towards competing, and maybe the GB para-alpine team.
The coaching will develop your knowledge and technique. Video analysis will be used in the sessions and to help shape your practice between sessions.
The coaching is designed for:
• Mono and Dual skiers
• Stand-up (3 and 4 track) skiers
• VI skiers with a guide
who are comfortable using the drag lift and skiing in control at a variety of speeds in different turn shapes.

If you are confident using the lift, and controlling your speed and line from the top of the main slope, this is the next step from learning in snowboard school, or recreational riding, towards competing, and maybe the GB para-snowboard team.

They are open to the following:

• VI with a guide
• Stand Up Snowboarders (instructor availability dependant)

Attendees should be DSUK members (can be done online thru DSUK website)
Cost: Each session will be £60 for 2 hours. Initially we will be limiting the number to a maximum of 6.
